Lunar Eclipse

I've always been fond of this picture that I took of my friend during the a lunar eclipse that happened last spring. I had the camera on my tripod and I think that I had the exposure somewhere around 20 or 25 seconds or so. I had him walk towards the camera so that I could get the ghosting effect (as opposed to the last night image I put in that was not planned.. just snap shot). I'm not entirely sure where the green light was coming from, but none of the colors have been changed in photoshop. I just love the moon flare and the colors that were created with such a long exposure in downtown Macon.

A cold winter's night...A yearning for a cool image (but not the temperature)...A young photographer on a lonely sidewalk...all the makings for something interesting. It was about midnight and I had been playing with long exposures trying to get something cool for an assignment for another class. The only light involved in this photo are the vapor streetlights that you see, and the exposure was 15 sec @ f22. My color balance was off, but fortunately a quick fix in PS remedied that. A few other small recently acquired tweaks finished it up for a pleasing result (I think...). After this, I am truly game for some more night exposures.
