Shot me a race car. This baby takes home gold from the Talladega short track and many others! Every saturday, watch guys fly around in circles in ghetto rigged Awesomemobiles.

Going green!

I was walking through a field in Fayetteville trying to find a good long exposure shot and i came across this experiment of some sort. The light would only make this crazy flare if i got really low. I liked the way the long exposure made the foil look.

Chance lighting from a neon sign across the street and a pretty cool cloud that looks like a tornado to me.

Snapshot portraits

Taken late Sunday afternoon with natural light comming through the windows. Not all in focus but nice light quality. Shot wide open between 1.8 and 2.8. I think 400iso.

Sun flare

Light like this makes me just plain giddy so I forced Whitney to be my model while I tried to bottle the beautiful quality of the sun in a picture.

Aaaaaaaaaaand that's a wrap!

After shooting a stop motion music video for a fellow compatriot, we had to do goofy casting shots.

On Sunday Tony and I went out shooting at night using long exposer's

St. Louis

I went to St. Louis this past weekend to see my favorite band The Appleseed Cast. These are some pictures of the arch. I really liked the reflection and bending of lights from the city that were hitting the sides of the arch. It was really hard to take pictures since it was literally in the lower 20s and the wind was relentlessly blowing around. All in all it was an enjoyable trip and the concert was awesome, too. I was up front and center, exactly where I wanted to be.

teacup necklace

The light setup was simple, but I thought the look came out a little dramatic, which is what I was aiming for.
Strobe+soft box on right, fill card on left.
Which lighting/set up do you like better?

Snow in the Dec

Last night outside of my house at dusk. Long exposure thats why the trees are blurred. Pretty colors though.
