WATCH Everybody Street!

I've been a huge fan of this movie for a while now. We've watched it in class a few times but I don't think we'll get a chance this quarter. Awesome intro to the lives of some badass street photographers. Take some time and check it on Netflix or Youtube.

Here are a few shots I took for the Texture and Metal Assignment. I used a large soft box overhead, a small one to the left of the image, white fill cards along the front and a white v-flat to my right.

The back was lit with a soft box and the model, Levi, was lit some with a snoot and others with a soft box. We went for a dramatic, high contrast feel (w/ emphasis on the bubble.)

Using soft lighting for a sexy yet playful shoot this weekend. I felt that with what she was wearing we would only need to use simple poses. These shots are for this young woman's own personal collection. "I want some sexy photos of myself, one day I will be old and will want to look back at my glory days."

Drenched In Sin || Concert Photography

Last weekend, I shot for a friends band, Drenched In Sin, at the new Masquerade. I feel as if each color of light portrayed each band members' style correctly. I loved the aura the dark venue and smoke machines provided.  Each image is rich in contrast; here are a few of my favorites:
