When in San Francisco be sure to make Coit Tower your first stop. From the famous "Telegraph Hill" you get views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the entire city panarama. And, if this is not enough, inside the walls are decorated with murals from the 1930s Public Art Works Project.

Some photos from my trip to California

Here are a few photos from my recent trip. Even when I'm away from work I still try to find something interesting or beautiful to photograph. Shoot what interests you and always keep a camera handy.

nadav kander

I came across the work of Nadav Kander while perusing the photographers of Stockland-Martel. I love this guy's work. His images have a sort of sublimity to them - as if each photo was taken in an actual moment of honest silence. I find myself really drawn to it. It looks like he uses a large format for a lot of, if not all, of his work.

Bonus: Good site layout and LOTS of adequately sized photos. After viewing loads of photographers' websites it's nice when you come across one that gives you what you want and plenty of it.
