Front lighting, back lighting, and side lighting. On generic film from japan.. Shooting with film makes me not want to shoot digital its so much more rewarding. Plus I just obtained a Hp scanjet scanner. It has back lit slots for film and slides to scan and can scan up to 9400dpi. I highly recommend it to any one who uses film or scans in illustrations.
Ps. I know there's not really a subject in the first image i was going for a washed out landscape that showed the shape of the treeline, granite and bushes.
